Deputy Budget Director Elected Vice President of Statewide Group

Pontiac, MI, October 21, 2004 -- Art Holdsworth, deputy director of the Oakland County Department of Management and Budget, has been elected Vice President of the Michigan Association of Governmental Computer Users (MAGCU).

"I am very honored to have been elected to this post and especially proud to be a member of such a dynamic organization," Holdsworth said.

Holdsworth has been with MAGCU for fourteen years, the past seven years as a board member. Prior to being elected vice president for the coming year, he served as the organization's secretary.

MAGCU is comprised of representatives from local units of government statewide who are dedicated to improving the efficiency of information technology in the workplace. The organization is comprised of 150 to 200 members across the state of Michigan.
