Oakland County Health and Wellness Expo Deadline Extended

Pontiac, MI, July 28, 2008 Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson announced today that the deadline for vendors to sign up to participate in the Health and Wellness Expo has been extended to September 5th.

The Expo is being held at the Shotwell Gustafson Pavilion on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4th.  The event is in conjunction with the inaugural Brooksie Way Half Marathon and 5K Race which is being run the following day, Sunday, October 5th, also at the Rochester-based campus.

With some 10,000 people expected to attend the expo, this is a wonderful opportunity for companies to reach out to the community with their message of health and wellness, Patterson said. 

Patterson says exhibitors will be provided a 10 x 10 booth space, one 8 skirted table and two chairs at a cost of $325.  Exhibitors are encouraged to provide educational materials about their services or products as well as offer merchandise for sale that fits the health and wellness theme of the expo.
