North Oakland Fine Art Festival 
North Oakland County, Michigan is located about one hour north of Detroit in Oakland County, Michigan.  Imbedded within the town is Olde World Canterbury Village, a 19th century village and designated historical landmark in Lake Orion, MI.  OWCV is host to 18 specialty shops and wonderful features including Aldridges Always Christmas shop & carousel, Canterbury Toy World, The Celtic Connection, Village Quilt shop, Canterbury Fudge Shoppe.  Restaurants include Kings Court Castle Restaurant or the Clansman Gaelic Pub.  Theres something for everyone. 
The 1st Annual North Oakland Fine Art Festival happens on July 11 & 12 at Olde World Canterbury Village.   This is a high quality, juried fine art & craft event with about 150 artists from across the nation and Canada.  Produced by Hot Works, the same company that produces the award winning Orchard Lake Fine Art Show.

Youth Art competition for grades K-8 at the Orchard Lake Fine Art Show
Young artists may want to start thinking about creating art work to enter into the Youth Art Competition of the 7th Annual Orchard Lake Fine Art Show, being held on July 24-26 at Orchard Lake St. Marys Schools.  The Youth Art Competition invites kids ages 5-13, or grades Kindergarten through 8, to submit their art work not only to be publicly displayed at the event, but for the opportunity to win a cash prize!
