Commissioner David W. Potts is married with two children Kelly and Stephanie.  He has one grandchild, Ryan.  He is a graduate of Bloomfield Hills High School and attended Hillsdale College, Eastern Michigan University and Wayne State University Law School.  He is an attorney in Birmingham.
