Quality of Life Committee

The Quality of Life Committee focuses on intangible elements that make Oakland County a premier location for businesses and families.

Committee Recommendations for 2011

• Seek opportunities to provide business counseling and other start-up services to second career entrepreneurs.
• The committee supports Oakland County in the implementation and promotion of a Certified Community Readiness Initiative for all communities.
• Seek ways to assist Pure Michigan and the Detroit Metro Convention and Visitor's Bureau to ensure Oakland County’s significant assets are promoted to attract new visitors and conventions to our region.
