ANALYSIS OF IMPEDIMENTS TO THE EXERCISE OF FAIR HOUSING CHOICE 2007 - 2008 UPDATE
Oakland County supports the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Developments fair housing and equal opportunity mission by conducting an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (AI) with timely updates and ongoing actions to overcome identified impediments. The AI serves as the basis for fair housing planning and provides essential information to housing consumers and providers, county and community policy makers, administrative staff, lenders and fair housing advocates and helps build local support for fair housing efforts.
OAKLAND COUNTY CONTINUUM OF CARE HMIS REPORT (10/1/06 - 9/30/07)
continuum of care HMIS report (file size 213kb) The Oakland County Taskforce on Homelessness & Affordable Housing annually provides information on the status of homelessness in Oakland County. The current report (10/1/06 - 09/30/07) contains statistical and demographic information on families and individuals seeking homeless services in Oakland County during that time period using records from the Homeless Management Information System.
This report represents the most extensive housing study ever done in Oakland County. Released August 29, 2006, the report will help Oakland County, local communities and the business community identify gaps in existing housing inventories, develop strategies and prioritize limited resources to meet future housing needs across all income levels in Oakland County.

Oakland County's plan to bring together stake holders from private and public sectors to end homelessness & increase the supply of sustainable, affordable housing
The plan addresses housing and community development needs and strategies in Oakland County's 50 "urban county" participating jurisdictions for the period of May 1, 2005-April 30, 2009.
Annual Action Plan and consolidated application for the Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnership, and Emergency Shelter Grant Programs for the period May 1, 2007-April 30, 2008.
The CAPER provides the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the County residents with the information needed to evaluate and assess Oakland County's housing and community development accomplishments for the program year.
