Lawrence M. Doyle
Deputy Clerk/Register of Deeds

Mr. Doyle joins the Oakland County Clerk/Register of Deeds Office after more than six years as the Administrative Director for the Oakland County Board of Commissioners.

A former police officer for both the Detroit and Farmington Hills Police Departments, Mr. Doyle also holds a law degree from the Detroit College of Law.

From 1983 to 2004, Mr. Doyle worked for the City of Royal Oak as Deputy City Attorney, City Attorney and finally as City Manager. He and his wife Susan, who have three grown children, live in Royal Oak.
