Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program
WIC is a free nutrition program that helps families eat well and stay healthy.
WIC provides:
- Free healthy foods
- Nutrition counseling and education
- Breastfeeding support
- Immunizations
- Referrals to health care, public health nurses, registered dieticians, and many other helpful services

| Eligibility Guidelines:
- Pregnant women
- Infants
- Children under age 5
- Women who recently had a baby (up to 6 months after delivery)
- Breastfeeding women (up to 1 year after delivery)
| Do I Qualify?
- Low to middle income or receive Medicaid and/or food stamps
- State of Michigan and Oakland County resident
- Nutrition and/or health risk (determined by WIC staff)

- Call 248-858-1272 or toll-free at 888-350-0900 ext. 81272 to determine eligibility and make an appointment.

Please plan approximately 2 hours for your visit. Bring a favorite toy or books to help make the appointment easier for both you and your child.
Oakland County WIC is moving - Beginning TUESDAY, November 22, Walled Lake WIC appointments will be at the following location: Walled Lake Community Education Center, 615 N. Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake (map)
Enter parking lot off of Maple Road, just west of Pontiac Trail
(behind the Murray's Auto Center) WIC appointments until Friday, November 18th will be at the current West Office Health Division location. Call 248-858-1272 for more information.
