OTHER OAKLAND COUNTY PARKS WELCOME DOGS TOO!
Canines are welcome at Addison Oaks, Catalpa Oaks, Groveland Oaks, Highland Oaks, Independence Oaks, Orion Oaks, Rose Oaks and Waterford Oaks.
Please note that dogs are NOT allowed on nature trails at Lyon Oaks County Park. Nor are they allowed in any waterways (except where postings allow), buildings, picnic areas or golf courses throughout the parks system.
Dogs visiting the Oakland County Parks are required to be on a six-foot-long leash unless inside a Dog Park enclosure.
Keeping your pet on leash and on designated park trails in natural areas helps prevent erosion and destruction of trailside vegetation. Wildlife may not survive an encounter with an unleashed dog; a dog may innocently destroy the homes of ground-nesting animals and may maim or kill wildlife.
For the health and safety of animals and humans alike, pet owners visiting any of the Oakland County Parks are asked to clean up after their dogs. Free pet waste bags are provided.
You will need to download Adobe Acrobat Reader if it is not already installed on your system.
