Red Oaks Golf Course Closes for 2009 Season

Red Oaks Golf Course closes Monday, Nov. 17, 2008 to accommodate an Oakland County Water Resources Commission construction project.

The course will be closed for the 2009 golf season. Improvements as a result of the construction will include relocation of the golf course entrance to align with the Dartmouth Street traffic light. All holes will be restored to their original layout.

Golfer Loyalty Cards obtained at Red Oaks are valid through April 30, 2009, and may be used at Glen Oaks, Springfield Oaks and White Lake Oaks golf courses.  Gift certificates are also redeemable at these four Oakland County Parks golf courses, plus Lyon Oaks.

Glen Oaks, Lyon Oaks, Springfield Oaks and White Lake Oaks golf courses will remain open as weather permits.
