ROGC CLOSING

Red Oaks Golf Course will be closed for the 2009 season due to an Oakland County Drain Commission construction project. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

• 2008 Golfer Loyalty Cards are valid through April 30, 2009, and may be used at Glen Oaks, Springfield Oaks and White Lake Oaks golf courses
• Gift Certificates are also redeemable at our other Oakland County Parks Golf Courses

Course improvements as a result of the construction will include relocation of the golf course entrance to align with a traffic light at Dartmouth Road. All holes will be restored to their original layouts.

Oakland County Parks will take advantage of this down time to create a Master Plan for Red Oaks County Park.  The master planning process involves evaluating all aspects  of the facility, soliciting public input and promoting the Oakland County Parks role in southeast Oakland County.

During the 2009 season, we invite you to visit Glen Oaks, Lyon Oaks, Springfield Oaks and White Lake Oaks. Leagues for 2009 may wish to try Royal Oak Golf Course, located on Don Soper Drive in Royal Oak, (248) 549-9451.
