Oakland County Natural Resources Best Management Practices Inventory
Project Purpose
The purpose of the Oakland County Natural Resources Best Management Practices Inventory is to document and track the implementation of best management practices that contribute to the protection, promotion, and restoration of Oakland County's natural resources.
By contributing your information on the most effective practices that have been implemented in your community, you will educate and assist other communities who are looking for solutions. The information you provide will be used to generate a fact sheet about your project which will be made available over the Oakland County web site.

Participation
You can participate by following these five easy steps:
1. Download the data input form (40 kb)
2. Identify the best management practices that have been implemented in your community. Use the list of suggested practices to get you going, but don't stop there. Feel free to contribute projects that are not identified in the list of suggestions; the data sheet can accommodate all types of projects.
3. Fill out the digital input form.The form asks you to provide basic information about the project, such as when it was initiated, costs related to planning, design, construction and maintenance, and a brief overview.
4. Obtain two digital images of the project.
These photographs may include:
-- before & after shots
-- ground shots and
-- plan-view/design drawings
-- different perspectives
Images must:
-- be submitted in .jpg format,
-- include captions to describe the images
-- not exceed 250 kB in file size
