Downtown Farmington

Downtown Farmington is located in South Oakland County at the intersection of Grand River Avenue and Farmington Road, approximately 3 miles south of I-696 and 4 miles east of I-275 & M-5.
Mission: To promote and enrich a vigorous downtown business and residential district while retaining and enhancing our Main Street atmosphere.
Description: The Farmington DDA District combines an interesting, historic central business district with a substantial business corridor extending east from the downtown along Grand River Avenue. A unique blend of community events, specialty retail shops, services, restaurants, the Civic Theater, parks, and a wide variety of offices are situated throughout the downtown area in a friendly, family oriented, pedestrian environment. Historic neighborhoods surround the core downtown with its late nineteenth and early twentieth century architecture, adding to the City's distinct sense of place.
