Building rehabilitation can be daunting. Understanding and using the building codes specifically meant for and favorable towards existing buildings can make life easier for all of the stakeholders. Properly used, these codes are usually less restrictive, allowing for greater design opportunities and cost savings for the owner. Properly applied early in a design process, these codes often make the difference whether a projects feasible or not.

Benefiting owners, architects, engineers, and code officials, this seminar will equip you with timely and meaningful information that you can apply to your next rehab project. Experts will present the code provisions which address historic structures, barrier free requirements and the 2006 Michigan Rehabilitation Code itself.
