Nomination Submission Deadline: September 16, 2008
Main Street Oakland County is instituting a new awards program to be implemented starting with the 2008 Main Event, which will be held on Friday, November 14th. This new awards program recognizes excellence in downtown revitalization in the five categories listed below and has been designed to:
be more educational, providing outstanding examples in the Main Street Four Points
spotlight and provide more benefit to the Main Street communities, volunteers, and businesses
more significantly honor the awardees with beautifully customized awards, featuring a handcrafted tile from Pewabic Pottery of Detroit, MI
Nominations submitted by your MSOC community should only be submitted for the awards that represent what your DDA / Main Street program is most proud of. Also, Main Street Managers should request the help of the committees and volunteers to complete nominations.
