The Bad Check Restitution Program was instituted by David Gorcyca in 1999 to address the negative impact of bad checks passed on to local businesses.
In an effort to combat this serious problem, Mr. Gorcyca joined efforts with American Corrective Counseling Services to offer a unique, cooperative effort between the private and public sectors.
The primary goal of the program is to obtain full restitution for the victim, without adding to the financial burden of the criminal justice system. For more information call 800-225-7133.
