CVT Training Programs
In the spirit of promoting intergovernmental collaboration, Oakland County's goal is to work with local communities to offer training courses to their employees at a low cost to individual municipalities.
The training services listed below are provided to local communities to assist with developing employees' skills in order to promote excellence in public service.
HR Training - non-technical employee development opportunities for general and supervisory audiences.
IT Training - software and application training.
CLEMIS Training - police, fire and public safety training & support through CLEMIS, southeast Michigan's oldest and largest technology/information sharing consortium.
GIS Training & Calendar - supporting coordinated "location-based" data initiatives across jurisdictionaly boundaries conducted by more than 10 County agencies and 62 local municipalities.
Skywarn Spotter Training Program - an effort to save lives during severe weather emergencies by expanding networks of spotters in all communities.
