Results Program
Referring Agent Information
We are here to serve you!
The RESULTS Program was originally established by Oakland County Community Corrections in 2000. It was designed to monitor court-ordered abstinence from substances of abuse. In May of 2009, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office assumed responsibility for the program in order to meet the increasing demand for immediate and uncompromised results. With an increase in staffing, we have extended office hours every day of the week, including Saturday and Sunday. Our tests are also directly witnessed by a uniformed Deputy Sheriff. The urine samples are then sent to our state of the art Forensic Lab. Results are available on the next business day. The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is here to meet your needs. We will continue to use C*STAR so that you can access results on-line (please contact Sheriff's Office staff for login information). We have also created an electronic referral form for your convenience. This electronic form may be e-mailed or faxed to either of our RESULTS locations. We use a random color/letter testing system for drug and alcohol testing according to your referral. Defendants are required to call the RESULTS Hotline every morning after 5:30 a.m. to hear the colors and letters for that day. If the defendant’s assigned color/letter is called, then the defendant must report for testing that day. We will not validate drug test results from any outside agency. For your convenience, we will enter PBT results from an alternative site in C*STAR provided the defendant’s PBT log is delivered to our office before 6 a.m. the next day.
