2011 Precipitation and Rain Gauge Program
The Water Resources Commissioner's Office operates and maintains 24 tipping bucket rain gauges throughout Oakland County. Precipitation data is collected via telecommunication to a central computer located at the Water Resources Commissioner's office. This data is used in the analysis of sewer and drain system performance.
The Water Resources Commissioner's Office publishes the latest rainfall data on a monthly basis. Precipitation data is displayed in hundreds of an inch (i.e. "321" is read as 3.21"inches).
You will need to download Adobe Acrobat Reader if it is not already installed on your system.
